Natural milk from natural cows

"Where milk comes from"

Spokane’s Family Farm is a LOCAL, GREEN, and HUMANELY run family farm. We are proud to bring the farm to you in our minimally processed and quality whole milk. Our cows are antibiotic and hormone free.

Our Milk is PASTEURIZED

Pasteurization is the process of heating milk to a high enough temperature to kill any harmful pathogens that may be carried in milk. Spokane’s Family Farm milk is heated to the LOWEST temperature allowed by law to be deemed safe; it is not ‘sterile’ like the ultra pasteurized milks.

Our Milk is NON-HOMOGENIZED

We believe that “less is best” when it comes to processing and handling, therefore Spokane’s Family Farm milk comes to you just as nature intended. You may be able to detect a slight cream line on top, it can be either skimmed for a 2% product, or simply shake for a 3.5% product with a silky smooth finish! That is why we can proudly say…You can whip our cream but you can’t beat our milk!!!

Why Spokane’s Family Farm milk won’t make you fat!

First of all, Spokane’s Family Farm milk is whole, natural milk with cream on top, the way nature intended. Our milk contains 3.5% milk fat, which can be skimmed to 2% if you choose. Simply put milk in a regular ice tea gallon jar and use the spigot at the bottom for fresh natural 2% while the cream will naturally separate by itself and can be used in coffee, ice cream, or to make butter! Secondly, the process that makes whole milk unhealthy is the process of homogenization, which keeps the cream from separating on its own. Other processed milks are sent to plants that run the milk through a series of tubes to change the globules of the fat from round and buoyant to long and sharp. The sharp points on the fat globules make tiny nicks in our arteries and cause plaque build up, resulting in arteriosclerosis. Because it is a minimally processed product, Spokane’s Family Farm milk won’t make you fat and can be enjoyed without guilt…
