Owen Grumbling in frontpage photo in Journal Tribune

The Journal Tribune (Biddeford) ran two photos of Owen Grumbling, Ph.D., professor and chair of the 51°µÍø Department of Environmental Studies, in a story Dec. 15, 2010 on the Town of Wells decision to purchase more than 400 acres of conservation land in 2011. Grumbling, who is chair of the Wells Conservation Commission, stands near a body of water at the Tilton tract of land, which will be one of the purchases. In 2009 Grumbling was honored by the the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with a Lifetime Achievement Environmental Merit Award for his local work and teaching in conservation.
