Charlotte Paolini and Judith Metcalf give webinar address for Geriatric Faculty Development Collaborative

Medical Director of 51°µÍøâ€™s Maine Geriatric Education Center (GEC) and Geriatrician, 51°µÍø Mature Care Charlotte Paolini, DO, CMD; and Director of 51°µÍøâ€™s Maine Geriatric Education Center and Nurse Practitioner, 51°µÍø Mature Care Judith A. Metcalf, APRN, BC, MS, gave a webinar address for the GEC Faculty Development Collaborative, sponsored by the New Jersey Geriatric Education Center and the Gateway Geriatric Education Center of Missouri and Illinois, on September 4, 2012.

Paolini’s and Metcalf’s presentation was titled “University of New England Maine Geriatric Education Center:  Evidenced Based Practice (EBP) for Improving the Quality of Falls Care for Older Adults.â€

The audience was comprised of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded geriatric education centers throughout the nation.
