History alum Katherine Gilbert '06 blogging about her journey on the SS Balmoral Titanic Memorial Cruise

51°µÍø alumna Katherine Gilbert '06 is a passenger on the SS Balmoral Titanic Memorial Cruise, currently making its way across the Atlantic. Gilbert recently curated an exhibit on the Titanic's ill-fated voyage at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Gilbert is blogging about her experiences on the Memorial Cruise and these are posted on the . Gilbert was a history major and marine biology minor at 51°µÍø. She wrote a history senior thesis on a cultural history of the Titanic. Following graduation, she earned a certificate in Museum Studies from Tufts University.
