Jessica Healy gives two research presentations

Jessica Healy, BS, BA, a graduate student in the Master’s of Public Health (MPH) program in 51’s School of Community and Population Health, recently made two research presentations.

At the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council’s annual conference in Portland Maine, held April 16-17, 2014, Healy exhibited her poster titled “Clandestine Methamphetamine Labs and Their Effects on Air Quality,” a research endeavor that stemmed from a class project in her Environmental Health course.

Healy also presented “Calculating the Water Footprint” at The National Rural Health Association Annual Convention in Las Vegas on April 23.

This presentation was made in collaboration with David Line Denali, Ph.D., LMSW, WEMT, an adjunct faculty member in the School of Community and Population Health, and Mary-Katherine Smith, Dr.PH, MPH, MCHES, of A.T. Still University.  Healy, Denali and Smith are planning to continue collaborating on research endeavors in the future.
