‘Journal Tribune’ reports on 51’s appointment of Jay Collier to director of Computational and Digital Programs

On December 7, 2015, the Journal Tribune featured an article on 51’s recent appointment of Jay Collier to the position of director of Computational and Digital Programs.

“The demand for tech professionals at all levels is growing rapidly and 51 is well positioned to help prepare students to meet employer needs here in Maine and beyond,” he stated. “I look forward to continuing to work with our many employers, educators and workforce colleagues to raise awareness of these career opportunities across the state and across the country.”

Collier’s will focus on essential workplace competencies and will serve traditional and non-traditional students in residential, hybrid and online programs.
