Student diversity at 51°µÍø featured in 'The Forecaster'

51°µÍø is proud to host a diverse student body, with individuals coming from all over the globe; an article in The Forecaster highlighted this in an article featuring a new student joining 51°µÍø all the way from Kenya.

Sahra Hassan, an incoming Medical Biology major, was born in a Kenyan refugee camp. This background contributed to her desire to pursue a career in medicine at 51°µÍø, with the ultimate goal of becoming an emergency room doctor.

According to the article, Hassan commented, "A lot of people where I come from need help." Through her studies at 51°µÍø, Hassan hopes to address the lack of medical access available in other countries around the world.
