Nor'easter Neighbors celebrate "Brocktober" on Halloween

Nor'easter Neighbors celebrate "Brocktober" on Halloween

The University of New England Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Athletics Department have done their part as Nor'easter Neighbors this Halloween, spreading the holiday spirit to one special individual.

Brock Chadwick, a 7-year-old from Biddeford who started his battle with a rare brain cancer back in February, just wanted to celebrate his favorite holiday, Halloween. To ensure that Brock got to celebrate it, "Brocktober" was created. The 51°µÍø teams came together to make cards, collect 51°µÍø gear and put together Halloween bags for Brock.

51°µÍø athletes join people around the country in the effort to give Brock a special Halloween, as hundreds of cards have been sent to Brock and his family every day in honor of "Brocktober."
