51°µÍø student Taylor Shewokis to serve as marine patrol officer on the Saco River

51°µÍø senior Taylor Shewokis was highlighted in the June 20 issue of the Ellsworth American as a new marine patrol officer. Shewokis, an Environmental Studies major, will serve as a Biddeford-Saco area seasonal marine patrol officer, conducting recreational boating and fishing checks along the Saco River.

He is a recent graduate of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy’s law enforcement pre-service course and previously completed an internship with the Massachusetts Environmental Police.
