Penny Maier Guyton is an accomplished business leader and educator with nearly three decades of experience driving innovation, growth, and organizational transformation in the healthcare and diagnostics industries. She currently serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of New England’s College of Business, where she brings a wealth of real-world expertise into the classroom.
Prior to her academic appointment, Penny held executive leadership roles at IDEXX Laboratories, a global leader in veterinary diagnostics and software, and FUJIFILM Medical Systems, where she delivered a consistent track record of strategic leadership, product innovation, and cross-functional collaboration across global markets. Penny’s teaching and speaking engagements span global commercial summits, leadership roundtables, and professional development workshops, where she has addressed topics such as innovation, customer experience, and leading change. She has also contributed to academic research, co-authoring peer-reviewed articles on healthcare marketing and public policy.
She holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Villanova University and a B.S. in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University. Penny is an active mentor in the Villanova School of Business Mentorship Program and has served in leadership roles for community organizations including the Falmouth Education Foundation.
