The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.

Amount of Scholarship:  The individual award is $500

Please send us a short essay (500 - 1,000 words) answering the following questions:

  • How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
  • Has your participation influenced your career goals?

Deadline:  June 19, 2025

All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.

Essay Guidelines

To qualify for the scholarship, please follow the essay guidelines below:

  • Essay Topic: In 10 years, how do you see yourself impacting the finance industry?
  • The essay title must be: “How I Will Impact The Finance Industryâ€.
  • The essay should be 500-900 words.
  • Any resources should be carefully noted and cited appropriately using the MLA format.
  • Any plagiarism or fabrication will disqualify the applicant from award disbursement.
  • Essay should be 12-point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.

The "Courage To Grow Scholarship" was created to help students realize their college dreams.

We don't want the college dreams and plans of so many to get lost in the financial shuffle. It takes a lot of determination and courage to forge ahead when sometimes it would be easier to give up.

With the "Courage To Grow Scholarship," we strive to help students achieve their higher education goals. By taking away some of the concerns such as "how will I pay for college," students can concentrate on their education and focus on the task at hand.

Who Can Apply?

Any student who will be enrolled in a college or University at the time of the next deadline (see dates below). This scholarship is limited to students attending school in the 50 U.S. states.

Please follow the essay and the submission requirements EXACTLY as outlined below to qualify for review. (Essays that ignore these requirements will be disqualified)

Essay Requirements

1) 1000 words or more (no more than 3000).

2) At the top of your essay, write your full namephone numberemail address and the name of the school you will be attending.

3) Outline at least 3 steps that you plan to take in the next year to start a path towards having a career that you love. As you think of these steps, consider some of these ideas; What are your passions that could be turned into a career? What are some ideas you have for a business based on things that you love and are skilled at? We want to hear unique, well thought out ideas. Make us believers. Make us excited. Make your essay stand out!

4) Interview a professional in the field that you are looking into and that has at least 3 years of experience in that field.

Ask them at least 3 of the following questions and include the questions and answers as part of your essay.

What initially inspired you to pursue the industry that you are currently in?

What would be one important piece of advice for someone like me who is considering going into the field that you are in?

What was the biggest hurdle that you encountered when you were first getting started in this field and how did you overcome it?

What are some of the college courses that you took that had a lasting impact on your career?

What are some aspects about your career that you didn't know about or consider when you were starting out?

What are some things I should be spending my time doing now outside of school to help prepare me for a career in this field?


Submission Requirements

1) Essay must be in PDF format. No exceptions.

2) The file name of your PDF file must be your full name and the name of your school. For Example: Scott-Jones-BYU.pdf

3) Email your PDF file as well as a scanned copy of proof of enrollment to scholarship@jonestshirts.com. Please send as TWO separate attachments. Submissions with only 1 attachment will not be reviewed.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility - You must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or University located in the United States.

If you are applying for the winter scholarship, you must be enrolled for classes during that winter semester.

If you are applying for the fall scholarship, you must be enrolled for classes during that fall semester.

You must follow all of the essay requirements and submission requirements outlined above in order to qualify.

Submission Deadline - All submissions must be received by the dates listed above in order to qualify for the scholarship.

Choosing a Winner - All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by our panel of judges. Credit will be given based on creativity, originality, passion etc. The winning essay will be announced within 2 to 4 weeks of the deadline. Upon verification of eligibility, the student will be notified by email or phone of their award. The student's approved school will then receive a one-time disbursement of $1,000 as a scholarship for the winning student. The student is responsible to ensure receipt of funds by the school and notify us if such is not the case within 60 days of the announcement.

NOTE: In the event that the student's school would prefer to have the award paid directly to the student as award money rather than being paid to the school as a scholarship, we will do so upon request.

JonesTshirts.com reserves the right to terminate this scholarship program at any time without any notice. This scholarship program is void where prohibited. No private information from essay submissions will ever be sold to 3rd party organizations or used for any kind of marketing or other purposes.

To apply for the Inspira Advantage MED Scholarship, all applicants must complete these steps:

  • We will judge your video based on the quality of your answers, not the quality of your video –your phone camera/webcam is perfect. 
  • Transitions, graphics, and other stylistic extras aren’t necessary.
  • Videos are to be shared on the social media platform of your choice. The description of your video must include the hashtags #InspiraAdvantage and #InspiraAdvantageMEDScholarship, and a link to our scholarship page (https://www.inspiraadvantage.com/scholarship).
  • The post must be made public using your real social media account. This video must be kept public for at least one year after submission.
  • Please share a link to your public video in your application form.

The Arturo Garzon Memorial Scholarship is created to honor Dr. Arturo Garzon, a Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Family Medicine Resident and UC Davis ACE-PC Graduate. Dr. Garzon exemplified the finest qualities of a community engaged family physician. The scholarship seeks to support medical students who have demonstrated strong interest in Latino/a/x  health, community health, and mentoring other students into health careers. One scholarship recipient will be awarded each year.

Scholarship Amount: $5,000

  • Be a current third-year medical student in good academic standing who expects to graduate in the spring of 2026
  • Attend an accredited medical, osteopathic or podiatric school

How to apply

  • Complete and submit the 2025 Dr. Arturo Garzon Memorial Scholarship Application
  • Provide your current curriculum vitae
  • Provide a medical or osteopathic school’s letter confirming good academic standing
  • Provide one letter of recommendation from a mentor or teacher at your school or a person familiar with your work in the community.

Creativity Leads to Success Scholarship 2025-2026

One (1) grand prize winner will receive a Scholarship Prize in the amount of two thousand and five hundred dollars and zero cents ($1,250). Two additional winners will be chosen; each will receive one thousand two hundred and fifty dollars and zero cents ($750).

We are excited to offer the "Creativity Leads to Success" scholarship, aimed at recognizing and rewarding innovative thinkers who have utilized their creativity to achieve a successful outcome. We invite applicants to submit an essay detailing a specific event, project, or time where your creative approach led to a success. Your submission should describe the challenge you faced, the unique and imaginative solution you developed, the steps you took to implement it, and the successful outcome that resulted. Additionally, please briefly reflect on what you learned from this experience and how it has shaped your approach to problem-solving and future endeavors. Essays will be evaluated on the originality of the creative solution, the quality of the story, and the impact of the outcome or lesson learned. Humor is always appreciated as well.

Scholarship Details

The scholarship is available on a bi-annual basis and is non-renewable.

The scholarship award will be sent via check directly to the university or college in the recipient’s name. Funds will be applied only to qualified college expenses, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meals, and books for the current academic year.

Terms & Conditions

All submitted photos and essays must be original work of the applicant. Only one submission may be entered per student, per year. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. All scholarships are non-renewable. A student may only be awarded the scholarship one time. By submitting an application to The Utopia Management Scholars Fund, you certify that all the information you have provided is original, accurate, and complete.

As outlined in the Privacy Policy, once permission is granted by the applicant, Utopia Management, its agents and/or representatives have
permission to:

  • Use their name, photo, essay response, and award amount, if any, in announcements or articles (i.e. social media, newsletter, etc) issued by Utopia Management.
  • Post the applicant’s name, college or university, and the essay on the Utopia Management website.
  • Email information to the applicant regarding their application and award.
  • Winners will be notified via email, and announced publicly on Utopia Management’s website and social media pages.

Privacy Policy

By submitting an application, Utopia Management is granted permission to send applicants information regarding their application only, via their submitted email address. No applicants will be contacted regarding anything other than their application or award.

The winner will be asked if they will grant Utopia Management permission to post their name, school, photo (if submitted), and their essay on Utopia’s website, social media, or in other marketing communications relating to the scholarship program. We will remove any information pertaining to applicants at their request.

All information (proof of enrollment, essays, and email) relating to applicants is deleted and destroyed as soon as a winner is announced.

2025 KPNC Scholarship Criteria

  • Be a current third-year medical student in good academic standing who expects to graduate in the spring of 2026
  • Interested in seeking a residency in Kaiser Permanente Northern California
  • Attend an accredited medical, osteopathic or podiatric school
  • Scholarship Amount $2,500
  • Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to participate in a one-month clerkship at a Kaiser Permanente facility in Northern California during their fourth year of medical school. An additional $5,000 travel stipend will be awarded once the rotation has been completed.

Who is eligible for the WPS Neurodiversity Scholarship?

Any current student of an accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is welcome to apply. Who Is Eligible for the BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarship?

We recognize that the college experience is different for everyone. The BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarship is open to current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students of accredited two-year or four-year universities or colleges in the U.S. While there is no age requirement, all applicants must be enrolled in a program emphasizing healthcare and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible programs include:

  • Undergraduate students who are enrolled in pre-medical coursework or postbaccalaureate programs
  • Undergraduate or graduate business school students (with an interest in healthcare)
  • Nursing school students
  • Medical school students
  • Pharmacy school students
  • STEM program students (with an interest in healthcare)
     

How to Apply for the BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarship 

Students who fit the eligibility requirements listed above can apply to win one of four scholarships awarded annually. To enter, applicants must submit: 

  • GPA 3.0 or higher (transcript will be requested before the scholarship is awarded)
  • Essay (500 words maximum) in response to the prompt below
  • Accompanying video (2 minutes maximum) shared on social media tagging BuzzRx. 
    (Your video should align with the theme of your essay but does not need to be read verbatim. Feel free to get creative—use storytelling, visuals, or any approach that showcases your passion for health and wellness.)

The BuzzRx Hive consists of passionate BuzzRx employees, doctors prescribing medications, customers seeking discounts, and pharmacists and pharmacy technicians filling and processing prescriptions. If you meet the eligibility criteria for our scholarship, your application's essay, video, and social media submission deadline is June 27, 2025.

Scholarship Amount
 

BuzzRx is offering $5,000 to four winners for the fall 2025 semester.

Selection Process and Notification
 

The BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarship Committee will review all submissions and four winners will be chosen to receive $5,000 each before the fall semester. Once the winners have been determined, BuzzRx will contact them directly in August 2025.
 

The winners of the BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarships may be publicly recognized by BuzzRx, in its sole and absolute discretion, on its website, in one or more press releases, and/or social media posts. The winners of the BuzzRx Bee Healthy Scholarships will be required to sign certain agreements or acknowledgments, including a verification of eligibility, completion of tax forms, if applicable, and, use of name and likeness releases and return such documents within seven (7) days of receipt of such documents from BuzzRx. Each winner’s agreement with such documents will grant BuzzRx the right to use the individuals' names, voices, likenesses, background or any other indicia of personality and any of the material provided by the individual or about them without compensation, for any purpose, including, but not limited to a commercial purpose, in any medium, throughout the world in perpetuity.

Additional Details

The scholarship funds awarded are to be used for tuition and books only. Once awarded, a check will be written to the recipient’s school of choice and credited for academic costs. The scholarship is non-renewable. Recipients are only eligible to receive the scholarship once during their lifetime.
